Q: When & where does the Young Women's Conference take place?
A: The annual Young Women's Conference usually takes place in early spring on Princeton University's main campus from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
Q: When does registration open?
A: Registration opens in mid-October.
Q: Are there any costs to attend?
A: There is no cost to register or attend YWC.
Q: How many students are we allowed to bring from our school?
A: We request that groups of students be kept at 10 with one adult chaperone. The goal is to have as many schools participate as possible.
Q: How will we get there?
A; You will need to arrange for transportation to Princeton (i.e. school bus, car-pool, etc.).
Q: Can male students attend?
A: Sorry! The YWC is intended for female students in grades 7 through 10.
Q: Are parents allowed to bring their daughter(s) to the event?
A: Yes, parents may bring their daughter(s) to the event, but there must be at least 3 female students. Registrations for less than 3 female students will not be accepted.
Q: Will there be food?
A: Yes, we will provide lunch to each registered student and chaperone.
Q: What is the day like?
A: It will be a very busy day! Attendees will be divided into groups and explore the hands-on exhibit as well as lab tours throughout main campus. There will also be breakout talks as well as a keynote speaker.
Q: What if we're late?
A: If you arrive after your scheduled time, you will be directed to the next activity on your agenda.
